
BI-170 Course Information

Description and objectives:
- This course is designed to acquaint you
with some fundamental concepts that relate to evolution
and ecology. You have had some population biology and
some evolution in previous courses in the sequence. As
such, this class will tend to stress the ecological
principles more.
Expectations:
- You are expected to comprehend the
material presented in the lecture and to actively
participate in discussion of the various topics. Further,
I expect you to attend all lectures. You will need to
pass and/or complete all exams and assignments to pass
the course.
Course design:
- Lecture twice a week, 75 min/meeting.
