Greetings Band Boosters,

     You should have received your Dome tickets. Diane Wicker sent them home with the kids yesterday. For questions/problems, please contact Diane directly (335-8040 / dlwicker1s@semo.edu).

     Our final competition will be Saturday. Please look up times and directions on www.marchingtigers.com . Walt Lilly has updated the directions. The buses will stop in Arnold for lunch. The kids will be on their own, so please make sure they have some cash. We will provide them snacks when they arrive at the Dome and again after the awards, before the return trip home. We will also provide a meal after the performance, around 6:30pm in the parking lot, near the buses.

     We hope you come to St.Louis and watch our band. Wear your orange and show the Tiger Time Spirit. Be generous with your applause! It will make all the difference for the kids on the field!

     The final performance of the 2009 show will be Thursday, Oct.29 @ Houck Stadium. This is Senior Night and the Cape vs Jackson football game. We will honor our senior band members and their parents. If you are a senior band parent, please make sure to attend this emotional evening. As a band tradition, we will take a photo of the student (last time in uniform) with the parents in front of the hard earned trophies! If you already know that you will not be able to come, please let us know so we can try to take your picture on Saturday!

     We will conclude this marching season on Thursday, November12 with the banquet at the CHS commons. Preparations are under way and please plan to help if possible. More information to come soon. Debbie Bess will chair the senior table and decorations. You can contact her (335-4997) to offer help and input. Susan McClanahan (334-1532) is the head of the food committee. Please direct any ideas and offers of assistance directly to her.
